JESUIT GRADUATE SCHOOL DAYS

Students participating in the Magis University Madagascar days.

The programme of Magis University Madagascar (U-Magis) was celebrated in Bevalala, on March 21 and 22, 2024. It is a Jesuit university made up of different campuses. Among the courses, there is communication (SAMIS-ESIC), which Sister Nordine Faria is studying.

The programme of Magis University Madagascar (U-Magis) was celebrated in Bevalala, on March 21 and 22, 2024. It is a Jesuit university made up of different campuses. They are located in Antananarivo and Fianarantsoa. 

Among the courses, there is communication (SAMIS-ESIC), which Sister Nordine Faria is studying.

The objective of this meeting was to ”Revitalize and unify U-Magis Madagascar”.  Each course offers four components: “Academic, Spiritual, Sport and Cultural”.

On Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 8 a.m to 12 p.m we had an academic conference. The themes were: “Local development and Profession”, for the Master’s degree and “How to return and heal the impact of drugs” for the Bachelor’s degree. In the afternoon, the women’s football-ball match was played followed by the men’s.

 

On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Mass was celebrated by the Father Director of U-Magis Amparibe, Mamy Wilson, S.J. During his homily, Father Sánchez invited the students to trust in God. He said, “Pray, morning, noon, and evening”. After the Mass, cultural entertainment and women’s and men’s basketball took place.

 

 

At 3 p.m., there was a show with LJo, Malagasy artist. The atmosphere was warm.  There was a distribution of “cups” for the winning participants in the sport. The activities ended at 4:15 p.m.

Father MAMY WILSON invited the students to trust in God.
